The Bilateral Document Signed by the Republic of the Philippines and Japan

Japan and the Republic of the Philippines signed the bilateral document to start the JCM

On January 12th, 2017, Mr. Kazuhide Ishikawa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of the Philippines and H.E. Ms. Regina Paz L. Lopez, Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, the Republic of the Philippines signed the bilateral document of the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in the Republic of the Philippines. As a result, the JCM will be officially launched in the Republic of the Philippines, becoming the seventeenth country after Mongolia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Maldives, Viet Nam, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Palau, Cambodia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Myanmar and Thailand.
